We carry a large selection of health foods, such as organic produce, bulk items, deli with hot soup, salad bar, juices and smoothies, as well as other grocery items including meat and dairy. We also offer a wide range of vitamins, supplements, and personal care items to help keep your body and mind at its best.

History

Railway Market opened in 1979, under a local ownership, in Easton's historic train station. The goal was to bring the finest quality food to the community. Natural foods, local and organic produce, gourmet foods including over 200 varieties of cheese, deli sandwiches, bulk foods and nutritional supplements were featured.

In 1989 the store was shut down due to the building being burned in a disastrous fire caused by arson. A year later in 1990 the market reopened at its present location on Marlboro Avenue, and in 1994 Railway Market was purchased by the Natural Retail Group, a division of United Natural Foods, Inc., of Dayville, CT.

Do to the growth of the organic and natural food business, in 2000 NRG expanded the store to its present size. Though the store has experienced growth throughout the years, Railway Market continues to serve the community with the same vision as its original owners. That is, to provide customers with a large selection of wholesome foods, delivered by friendly and knowledgeable staff.
