History

Cape Cod Natural Foods provides Cape Codders with the largest selection of natural foods and supplements on the cape, and was founded in 1980 by noted Hebrew scholar David Rosenthal. The store was originally named "Down Home Natural Foods, Too" after Mr. Rosenthal's first store. Cape Cod Natural Foods assumed its current name in 1987 when the original "Down Home Natural Foods" along with the name were sold.

In 1994 Cape Cod Natural Foods was purchased by Cornucopia, the forerunner of UNFI and later became a member of Natural Retail Group (NRG). Cape Cod Natural Foods has gone through several changes since being owned by NRG resulting in what most customers consider the best natural food store on the cape.

The store is located in beautiful Centerville, MA in the Bell Tower Mall right next door to the '99' restaurant. If you are ever on the cape, stop in and say hi to all the staff and experience for yourself what makes this store so special.
